Between 2022 and 2025, my health prevented me from sustaining the complex practice of working with earth-based pigments and plant inks. To keep my creativity alive, I turned to wax pastels, exploring ways to soften bright colors into the muted, earthy tones I had always loved.

In late 2025, as my health and experience allowed, I gradually returned to natural pigments. This series reconnects with the textures, colors, and materials that have always been at the heart of my practice.
